Thoughts about your baby that frighten you, and you've never told anyone?

So many new parents, mums, dads and partners, have unwanted thoughts while they or their partner are pregnant, or after their baby arrives, that they're too frightened to say out loud, and when those thoughts get stuck on a loop it can be perinatal OCD, often called postpartum OCD. I'm making a course for exactly this, coming in 2027.

What the course will cover

What's happening

The OCD loop in pregnancy and early parenthood, and why the thoughts can feel so loud.

What keeps it going

Checking, avoiding, asking for reassurance and confessing, and why they make so much sense.

Small steps, and support

Gentle steps from CBT and ERP, and where to find more support when you need it.

Where shall I let you know?

About me

Hi, I'm Charlotte. I'm a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist and EMDR practitioner, and I specialise in OCD. I worked in the NHS before setting up my private practice, and I'm a mum of two.

I'm also a Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Champion, and I'm making this course because so many parents carry these thoughts on their own. Join the waitlist and you'll hear first when it opens, with a founding price just for the waitlist.

If you're worried about your safety or your baby's, contact your GP, midwife or health visitor, call NHS 111, or call 999 in an emergency.
